Something most people do not know about Chris is that he once played 144 holes of golf in one day. “ I played in a golf marathon as part of a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society. We were able to raise a good about of money for the charity that day. When I was asked how I felt after playing all those holes, my only comment was that I was tired, very tired!”

In order to get a good idea of the downtown historic district, I would suggest taking an on-and-off tour. I, personally, prefer Old Savannah Tours because they are a locally run business and can give you local insights that the other companies do not know.

Chris, Great story and great concept. Please email me, I have some questions and some others venues you may be interested in.

I am doing some research on Alice Riley. Do you know where she lived when she was working for William Wise? I have not been able to locate the address to his home. Or where the location of the city jail where she was imprisoned in 1735? Thanks

We regret to say that we have done some preliminary research and are unable to find these answers. This is a very interesting story! Please stay in touch and let us know if you find more info. Good Luck!

@R Tucker - there is a man that knows a lot about Alice Riley - his name is Tom Kohler from Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy. He did a fantastic lecture about her at Geekend 2010 last year. It was great!
