A Virtual Wine Tasting will allow a select few wines to be enjoyed here in Savannah at Winston's Wine Cellar, with the rare opportunity to have an interface with the maker of the wine through something very similar to Skype. This will allow the wine tasters to ask questions or relay comments face-to-face with the wine maker who is able to stay at their winery in another state or even another ...

It’s Hot
... real hot. Unfortunately for Savannah locals and those brave but very dedicated tourists, it's only June. That means, well, we are not even close to the worst of it or what we call here in Savannah, August. Where I am originally from (I moved to Savannah seven years ago), New Jersey, August was a welcome month aside from the fact that there are no federal holidays so you were sure to be working every Monday. August meant you could go in the water at the Jersey shore without inducing hypothermia and you didn't have to make sure you had a sweater with you at night.

Coastal Pet Rescue (CPR)
Founded in Savannah, Georgia six years ago by Lisa Scarbrough, Coastal Pet Rescue (CPR) has been changing lives of many abandoned, abused, and otherwise neglected pets. Since its very start in February 2003, CPR has rescued over 700 pets. Not an easy feat for a strictly volunteer-run program. Through the help of volunteers and donations CPR is able to give veterinary care to these animals and place them in loving homes.
