Our Forsyth Park Fountain has two replicas, do you know where they are located?
The Forsythe Park fountain actually is one of FOUR known to exist. There are the ones in Poughkeepsie,NY the one in Cusco,Peru but also there is one in Madison,Indiana.
All of these fountains are replicas of the one exhibited by Janes & Kirtland Company of New York,NY at the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition in 1876. The fountain’s actual name (according to the company’s catalog at that time) is “No.5” .
