Spring is in Savannah and the sand gnats know it. Not just those pesky little twerps, but the Savannah Sand Gnats (Savannah's very own, minor league baseball team) and they are ready to hit some homers! If you are as excited about spring as we are, you don't want to miss Opening Night at Grayson Stadium as the Savannah Sand Gnats face-off against Greenville on Friday, April 15, 2011.

The gates will open at 5:05PM, with the first pitch being thrown at 7:05PM! 

Can't make Opening Night? Help out the Susan G. Komen for the Cure at the Sand Gnat's Pink-in-the-Park event on May 7th. Attendees are invited to bid on the game-worn Pink Jerseys to help raise awareness and funds for the organization, which is sponsored by The Lasky Law Group.

Are you a Hometown Hero? On Saturday, April 23rd the Sand Gnats invited Savannah's Hometown Heroes out to Grayson Stadium for a special event honoring our local firefighters, first responders, military, and police. The Hometown Hero event will feature awesome interactive displays and activities presented by Hernandez Collision Center.

If you are a newbie in the Sand Gnat realm of entertainment… there are a few specials everyone enjoys! Each night at Historic Grayson Stadium is special when the Sand Gnats are playing with Dollar Mondays, Two-for-Tuesday, Pack-the-Park for Charity Wednesday, Family Friday, Saturday Night Fireworks, Bark-in-the-Park Sunday, and a Savannah local favorite, Thirsty Thursday. 

Dollar Monday, by bringing your Kroger Plus Card to Grayson Stadium, you can receive General Admission Tickets for just $1. Talk about a deal! It's like the Dollar Menu for the Sand Gnats. For more details, click here.

Two-for Tuesday, the Sand Gnats offer a Two-for-One Natty Light special! Plus, the KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night special offers a BOGO (buy one, get one) special on ticket purchases if you present your KRAFT Singles wrapper at the door! Find out more now.

Is it Thirsty Thursday yet? With the half-price deals on all small beers and sodas that runs all night, you can tell why this one is a local favorite! Still not cheap enough? From 6 - 7PM, Tubby's Tank House sponsors Happy Hour! During this hour at Captain Morgan's Cove on Land Shark Landing, Natty Lights are $0.50 and Captain and Coke's go for $3.00! 

Family Friday is the best time to bring the children! After each Friday game, the children run the bases! How exciting is that? Plus, it's Family Friday that awesome giveaways take place. For a full list of the giveaway schedule, click here.

If you love fireworks as much as we do, you do not want to miss the Saturday Night Firework extravaganza! Each Saturday evening, following (a hopeful) Sand Gnats win, a beautiful firework display lights up the Savannah sky with color. So, be sure to stick around for the post-game show!

Sunday is a fun day with Bark-in-the-Park and Kids Eat Free specials! Every Sunday, the Sand Gnats encourage attendees to bring their pooch to the Historic Grayson Stadium for Bark-in-the-Park. (All dog owners must show proof of current vaccinations for each pup.) Children are welcome too! In fact, you'll want to bring the children because Kids Eat Free on Sundays at Grayson Stadium. Subway offers one Free food voucher for each child under 12 years old - which includes a hotdog, chips, and small soda!
