Super Museum Sunday
Participating Georgia museums will have free admission on Sunday, February 7th from 12-4 p.m., providing an exceptional opportunity to experience the amazing art and history that lies right in our own backyard. Over 40 cultural institutions throughout coastal Georgia participate in the popular Georgia Historical Society’s Georgia Days annual family event. Some locations will have alternate hours, which are designated in the list of participating locations below.
Beach Institute African American Cultural Center ** Alternate hours: 3:00–6:00 p.m.
Congregation Mickve Israel Tours: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
First African Baptist Church ** Alternate hours: 1:30–4:00 p.m.
Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home ** Alternate hours: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Harper Fowlkes House **Alternate hours: 1:00–4:00 p.m.

The Georgia Historical Society is headquartered in Savannah and is the oldest cultural institution in the state. Active for 174 years, the Georgia Historical Society is responsible for many educational outreach programs, publications, and research services in our area.
