AMT continues its Summer of Murder Mysteries with Act II of its 3-part summer series presenting Anthony Shaffer's thriller The Murderer. In this drama mystery, Norman and his girlfriend, Millie,
share a twisted interest in the subject of history. As a hobby, they routinely re-enact the most grotesque murders on record. The play begins ghoulishly and without a spoken word to reveal what is apparently Millie’s murder followed by Norman's undertaking to inconspicuously dispose of the body. Startlingly, the police interrupt him. We become horrifically uncertain whether we have witnessed a stunning charade or a murder cover-up attempt. "An absolute thriller." Audience discretion is advised for violence.
