I just found this site. I really like it. Much better than all of the negativity found on CL and other Savannah sites. I for one was born here, lived in savannah, richmond hill, and now Effingham county. I moved to New York for a brief 5 months and realized how great this place was. There are some bad points to the area, but way more good than bad. The scenery is beautiful, people for the most part friendly, and the weather is great. I love Savannah and am not afraid to say it! If you dont like our wonderful city, point your car north and drive!

I grew up in Minnesota and moved down here with my family when I was about 16… definitely a move for the better.  I don’t love the 95+ degrees, 100% humidity weather in the summers, but overall I love it here.  Lots of culture and history, but without sacrificing the technology and innovation that makes everyday life comfortable.  Gotta love the selection of restaurants Savannah has to offer as well
