Your shoes are tied—so where to go? Around every corner and side street you can find the perfect place for a pint. All along River Street, Bay, Broughton, Congress and City Market you can find a pub that suits your liking. Belt out your best karaoke, listen to some great live music or play your favorite jam in the jukebox! All are within walking distance and very easy to find.
If you’re seeing people walk from bar to bar holding a 16oz. cup of beer, don’t let it surprise you! Iit’s perfectly legal to walk around in downtown Savannah with your drink of choice if it is in a 16oz plastic cup. Grab a to-go cup and head out! But remember, this exception to the law is only applicable in the ‘festival zone’ of Savannah, meaning the heart of downtown.
