Savannah Marinas
With easy access to Georgia’s beautiful salt marshes and Tybee Island, it’s no wonder marinas are so popular in Savannah. Most of the marinas are about 15-20 minutes outside of downtown Savannah. They provide a variety of activities including boating rentals, dolphin cruises, sightseeing tours, inshore and offshore fishing and even casino cruises! Plus, if you have your own boat, they provide a great place to dock your boat or set sail! Kayaking in Savannah is also a popular activity. If you have your own, or are looking to rent a kayak, you can do so at most of the Savannah and Tybee Island marinas.
Whether you’re interested in recreational boating or a chartered tour, you can set sail in any one of Savannah’s many rivers or the Atlantic! The Savannah River, specifically, has water taxis that can take you from one side of the river to the other, which is a helpful tip for anyone staying at The Westin.
