Savannah Savannah College of Art and Design
What’s SCAD? It stands for Savannah College of Art and Design. An internationally renowned art university, SCAD is responsible for much of Savannah’s restoration. The students and faculty of SCAD provide many of Savannah’s events and cultural life that is shared with both students and the public. Although there is not an actual SCAD campus, there are many buildings that are owned and operated by SCAD throughout the city.
Each of SCAD’s buildings can be mapped out on the green ‘show map’ button below and are individually listed below that. SCAD’s students help our community thrive culturally, economically, and of course artistically and many local events are held in SCAD owned and operated venues, like Trustees Theater or The Lucas Theater.
