Most of Savannah’s theatres have been renovated throughout the years and are now incorporated into the city’s history. The performing arts in Savannah really thrive in such an artistically inundated community. Many performances can be viewed at the Trustees Theater on Broughton Street, the Savannah Community Center on Oglethorpe Avenue and the Lucas Theater on Abercorn Street.
If you’re looking for something geared towards children, the Savannah Children’s Theatre has an incredible cast of children and young adults in their performances. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful night of ballet and symphony, or a night of more drama and suspense, you’ll be sure to find it at Savannah’s fine performing arts venues.
